Time For Your Birthday
By LeNae Gerig

"A tip from LeNae: Personalize your Instant Card Art die-cuts with embellishments and distressing techniques! For this versatile birthday card, I created a customized clock embellishment by accenting a basic clock shape with a unique arrow-shaped brad. I added a touch of color to the birthday punch-out by dotting the letter i with a red mini brad, then added dimension and contrast to the red bracket with two white mini brads! Want to take it a step further? Try inking or sanding the edges of your Instant Card Art punch-outs for a shabby chic look."

Thank You!

A tip from LeNae: "Want to keep those pesky brad prongs from showing on the inside of your card? Rather than using brads to attach your embellishments to your card front, try attaching them to another layer of the card front, like the border punch-out that runs across this card. By attaching my asterisk punch-outs to the border, then gluing the border to the card front, the brad prongs stay secretly hidden behind the border. But what if you've already glued the border to your card front? Try adding the brads to the centers of your asterisk punch-outs, then use Zots to attach the punch-outs across the border."
