Susan's Tip: The tropical sheer flowers and glitter brads repeat the colors in the background papers and are the perfect embellishments for this simple card. I layered the flowers and leaves together, then attached them with the brads.

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. With the fold at the left, cover the card front with aqua textured paper. Ink one side of the purple textured paper, then cover 4" of the right side of the card, with the inked edge at the left. Cover 3 1/2" of the right side with the purple/aqua/lime striped paper. Ink the edges of the card.
  2. Write or computer print "Happy Birthday" on the bottom of the tag and glue angled over the card front as shown. Layer flowers and leaves together, securing with a brad. Zot the larger flower stack to the top of the tag. Zot the smaller stack near the lower right corner of the tag.
  3. Inside the card: computer print or write a greeting on aqua paper and trim to a rectangle. Ink the edges and mat on purple. Ink the edges and mat on striped paper. Ink the edges and glue centered to the inside. Layer flowers, leaves, and a brad and Zot near the lower right corner of the plaque as shown.
