"For my teacher" milk carton
By LeNae Gerig
Designer’s Tip: Crease the paper as you wrap around the corners of the carton. This helps when adhering the paper to the carton sides.
Supplies:
Instructions:
- Cover surface with newspapers. Place the unassembled milk carton on the papers and mist one side at a time with Smooch. Blot with a paper towel if you have over sprayed and let dry. Assemble the carton and secure the top with glue.
- Tear one long edge of a 2 ¼” wide strip dark green strip paper and wrap around the sides of the carton, ¼” from the bottom edge. Tear one long edge of a 1 3/4” wide strip of light green/purple flower paper. Glue the bottom edge even with the dark green paper and wrap around the carton sides.
- Wrap purple sheer ribbon just under the light green paper and knot. Personalize the coordinating green tag cut-out and secure a small purple flower with a green brad and attach a purple brad at the top of the tag. Glue the tag to the top of the carton.
