Mickey Mouse

Whats one of the highlights of visiting a Disney theme park? Posing for photos with all of your favorite characters, of course! When youre ready to scrap all of those magical memories, Busy Scrappers Solution Disney Papers has all of the perfect artwork to embellish your pages. Mickey and Minnie, Donald and Daisy, Pluto, Goofy, and the rest of the gang are all here!

On this Mickey Mouse layout, I chose photo mats in black, white and red to coordinate with the colors in my photos and simplify the color scheme, LeNae says. I then accented the photos and journaling with colorful ribbon fragments to pull in the colors from the papers border. For dimension, I added three Mickey Mouse tiles with foam mounting tape, then accented them with knotted black grosgrain ribbon to emphasize Mickeys cute bowtie!

Supplies:

• Busy Scrappers Solution Disney Papers: Red with character border paper and artwork
• white, black and red cardstock
• Cardmakers Classic Ribbons
• Scotch Brand Foam Mounting Tape
• Zots
• glue stick

Instructions:

1. Use the red with character border paper as the background. Mat both photos on white cardstock, trimming the mats to 1/16. Mat each again on black cardstock, trimming the mat on the large photo to 3/8 and the small photo to 1/8. Using a glue stick, glue the small photo in the top right corner of the page. Glue the large photo to the page as shown, overlapping the top right corner with bottom left corner of the small photo. Cut the word Mickey Mouse from the artwork and glue it across the bottom of the large photo. Cut the friends word fragment from the artwork and attach it vertically in the top left corner of the large photo with foam mounting tape. Cut the fun word fragment from the artwork and glue it in the lower right corner of the small photo, flush with the right edge of the photo.
2. Computer journal onto white cardstock, then crop to a 3 square leaving extra space a the top to add a word fragment. Mat the journaling on red cardstock, trimming the mat to 1/16. Mat again on black cardstock, trimming the mat to 1/8. Secure the journaling above the large photo with a glue stick. Cut Magical Memories word fragment from the artwork and attach it across the top of the journaling with foam mounting tape.
3. Cut out the three Mickey Mouse tiles from the artwork, then use foam mounting tape to secure them vertically down the right side of the page. Cut three 4 lengths of black grosgrain ribbon, then tie a knot in the center of each length. Using Zots, attach one knotted ribbon at the bottom of each Mickey Mouse tile.

Ariel

What to do when you want to scrap a feminine Disney layout? We thought ahead and filled Busy Scrappers Solution Disney Papers with tons of papers, alphabet tiles and artwork featuring those ever so popular Disney characters like Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Tinkerbell, Ariel and Belle. Soft colors are mixed with floral patterns, castles and sweet underwater and musical themes to emphasize those adorable girly photos you want to scrap.

If you have a favorite photo that you really want to showcase, these Disney papers are perfect, says LeNae. I blew up this photo of Lauren and Ariel to 5x7 and placed it in the center of the paper, letting the border stand alone as a page filler. I used a large vellum mat on my photo to emphasize the water theme and to fill in extra space, then attached alphabet tiles over a ribbon strip to act as the title for this layout. The horizontal ribbon strip works with the border thats printed on the paper by allowing the viewers eye to move easily across and down the layout, framing the photo.

Supplies:

• Busy Scrappers Solution Disney Papers: Little Mermaid paper, alphabet tiles and artwork
• white cardstock
• lavender vellum
• Cardmakers Citrus Ribbons
• graphite black Brilliance ink pad
• Scotch Brand Foam Mounting Tape
• Zots
• glue stick

Instructions:

1. Use the Little Mermaid paper as the background. Using a 5x7 photo, wrap the bottom of the photo with two lengths of aqua woven ribbon and one length of lime woven ribbon, then knot all of the ends together on the front of the photo leaving 1 tails. Mat the photo on white cardstock, trimming the mat to 1/16. Mat again on lavender vellum, trimming the mat to 3/8 and inking the edges with black. Cut the Under the Sea word fragment. Using a glue stick, glue the fragment in the top left corner of the photo, flush with the left edge.
2. Cut two different lengths of lime woven ribbon and knot the ends together, leaving 1 tails. Lay the ribbon horizontally across the page, about 1 1/2 down from the top, then wrap the ends around the edges and secure on the back. Cut the word Ariel from the alphabet tiles, then attach the tiles over the lime ribbon length using foam mounting tape. Secure the matted photo centered on the page below the title.
3. Computer journal onto white cardstock, then crop to a long strip and ink the edges with black. Attach the journaling vertically just to the left of the photo, as shown. Cut one 2 length each of aqua and lime woven ribbon, then knot the lengths together in the center. Attach the knotted ribbon to the top of the journaling strip with a Zot.
