Instructions:

  1. Trim your card to 5"x4", then place with the fold at the left. Cut a 5"x4" black/gray flourishes paper. Cut a 3 1/4"x4 1/4" yellow/gray brochade paper rectangle and mat on black with 1/16" borders. Mat again on pale yellow with 1/8" borders. Glue centered to the black/gray flourishes paper. Wrap the front of the matted papers with a 5 1/2" length of yellow crepe ribbon 1 1/2" from the top. Glue the ends to the back of the black/gray flourishes paper to secure. Glue the matted papers even with the card front. Ink the edges black, avoiding the ribbon.
  2. Stamp the dress image on yellow/white flourishes paper with VersaMark ink. Sprinkle with embossing powder then tap off the excess and pour back into the container. Emboss with the heat tool. Trim the paper to 2 1/4"x3" and mat on black with 1/16" borders. Foam tape centered over the yellow crepe ribbon.
  3. Write or computer print "Wedded bliss" centered on a 3 1/4"x3/8" pale yellow strip. Stamp and emboss 3 hearts on each side of the words as shown. Mat the strip on black with 1/16" borders. Glue across the bottom of the card centered across the yellow/gray brochade paper as shown. Knot remaining ribbon loosely and trim tails to 1". Zot to card front as shown.

First, I must admit that I absolutely love the cards that Susan Cobb creates. I made this card, with some minor changes for my future daughter-in-law for her bridal shower. It is stunning.
Thank you Susan for your inspiration.
