St. Patrick's Day Card

Supplies

Instructions:

  1. Place the card fold at the top. Glue a 6 1/2”x1 1/4” strip of plaid across the card, 1/8” from the bottom of the card. Write the greeting on white cardstock and cut into a 6 1/2”x 1/2” strip. Glue across the plaid border.
  2. Trace the Fancy Cutaway template onto the back of the Green Flourish paper and cut out. Glue to the top edge of the card. Trace 4 heart shapes and 1 stem pattern onto the back of the plaid paper. Cut out and mat each piece with white cardstock, leaving 1/8” borders. Assemble 3 hearts in a shamrock shape on the green Cutaway shape and glue the stem at the bottom.
  3. Cover the large chipboard button with glue stick and then green paper. Cut out the button and lightly sand the edges to expose the white paper edge. Open the holes and thread with twine. Tie a bow and glue the button to the center of the shamrock.
  4. Inside: Glue a 6 1/2” x1 5/8” plaid strip across the center of the card inside back. Trace the Vintage Sign template on green paper and glue to the center of the border. Write the greeting on white cardstock and trace the Fancy Label shape with the greeting to the far right. Glue to the center of the green shape. Glue the plaid heart to the left side. Tie a twine bow and glue to the top of the heart.
