Dazzling Candles

Decorated green candle

Susan's Tip: It is easy to attach Dazzles to candles! To create the stacked effect, I added the smaller medallion dazzles to paper, cut around the edges, then stacked them over the largest Dazzle with foam tape.

Supplies:

• Silver Medallion Stacked Dazzles
• Cardmaker's Earth's Palette Creative Pack
• 3mm light blue pearls
• 5mm light blue pearls
• Foam tape
• 3 3/4"x4" tall green pillar candle

Instructions:

1. Attach the large medallion Dazzle centered on the front of the candle. Attach the next smaller medallion to blue/light green patterned paper and trim around the outside edges. Apply foam tape to the back and attach centered over the largest medallion on the candle.
2. Attach a flower medallion Dazzle to light green paper and trim around the edges. Attach over the center of the second medallion with foam tape. Add medallion corners to top and bottom of candle, and near the sides of the stacked medallions as shown. Add a swirl to each side of the medallion, and tiny flowers as shown.
3. Attach the self-adhesive blue pearls to decorate the Dazzles.

Decorated ivory candle

Susan's Tip: I used copper mesh to back the flower and wings of the large dragonfly to create a pretty textural effect for this candle. The floral border from the Dazzle sheet is perfect for accenting around the top of the candle.

Supplies:

• White pillar candle
• Gold Dragonfly Dazzles
• Copper mesh
• 3mm Amber crystals
• 5mm Amber crystals
• Humungo Adhesive sheets

Instructions:

1. Attach the flower Dazzle to a mesh square, then attached that to the Humungo adhesive. Cut around the edges and attach to your candle.
2. For the dragonfly wings, place a wing at the corner of a piece of mesh, then cut loosely around it, then repeat for the other side. Attach to a strip of humungo adhesive, then cut around the wings, making sure not to cut the antennae or tail.
3. Add the border Dazzle around the top of the candle and smaller dragonflies, as shown.
4. Attach the self-adhesive amber crystals to decorate the Dazzles.

Decorated lavender candle

Susan's Tip: It's easy to add color your Dazzles stickers with these pens. They dry opaque with a soft metallic shimmer, perfect for embellishing with crystals! Be sure to allow your colored Dazzles to dry completely before handling. I let them dry about an hour or so before attaching them to this candle.

Supplies:

• Silver Heart Stacked Dazzles
• Metallic pens
• 3mm teal crystals
• 5mm teal crystals
• Craft knife
• piece of flexible plastic such as a plastic sheet protector
• 3" x 6" tall lavender pillar candle

Instructions:

1. Remove heart Dazzles that you wish to use and attach lightly to plastic. Color the Dazzles with the pens and let dry. Attach to the candle as shown.
2. Add teal crystals as desired to decorate the hearts.
