This week I’m making a Mother’s Day card, although you don’t need a national holiday to send your mother (or a mother you know) a card! I am excited to share with you a special inking technique using embossing folders–it really is beautiful (you might have noticed I have twice as many photos up as normal–the last 3 are photos of the inside of the card, which uses the reverse technique of the front!). I just got carried away trying to convey the fantastic color and dimension that this technique creates! I love the Simply Susan’s papers, they are just up my alley, especially the color combos (and how awesome that Aquamarine Fluid Chalk ink happens to match perfectly?). I hope you are as excited about experimenting with this newfound technique as I am! Or maybe you’ve already discovered it yourself. Either way, whoever you send this card to is sure to be impressed! (Congratulations if you caught that pun) 🙂 Get ready to have some embossing folder fun!
