Hi everyone! So I am now back in Oregon! Thank you so much for your loyalty and patience. And now (finally) a new video! This week I show you a great new product: Heat Resistant Acetate, offered exclusively by Hot Off The Press! (Don’t forget the great deal on the bundle this week!) I also bring in one of my favorite Color Me papers, from the “Double Dipped” set (they are called Double Dipped because they have both black and white designs on them, with the white being raised and embossed). This card also uses some very pretty, sparkly WOW Embossing Powders: Pink Fizz & Totally Teal. These are super pretty on the background of deep pink & teal (Dark Peony and Arctic Deep Chalk ink pads). Let me know what you think!

Moving

Hi all,
Sorry no video this week but I have a really great excuse…I’m moving back to Oregon! Yes, it is a bit sudden, but my husband got a job and we’ve been thinking about since we moved to FL. I’m excited to be back, but the packing, shipping, moving, etc. will put a hold on the blog until I can get organized over here! I’m thinking next week hopefully I’ll have something up, but if not I will keep you posted! Thank you all for being such positive, great blog followers!

:)
Ann

Lacy Borders Cutting Dies

Lacy Borders Dies 1

Lacy Borders Dies 2

This week I have a pretty lacy card to show you! I also use some fabulous Dazzles, a Butterflies 3-Pack. They come with 3 sheets of Dazzles: 2 sheets of butterflies and 1 sheet of Jewels to mix and match with the butterflies. They are 3 different colors too–all shiny and sparkly, of course. You’ll see the fun acetate technique I use with the Dazzles in the video. I also love using the specialty White Peacock paper with the Lacy Borders Cutting Dies–it makes a great texture! The greeting is from the Smart and Sassy Sayings Stamps–very fun. I hope you all enjoy, and don’t forget to check out this week’s bundle!

Bicycle Cutting Die

Bicycle Cutting Die 1

Bicycle Cutting Die 2

Today’s card has a “bears and bicycles” theme–very cute! I think the Teddy Bear Dazzles are adorable, and the Bicycle Cutting Die has all sorts of uses. I love it with the Metallic Gold specialty paper. The bears are also backed with this neat leather-texture paper. This card also uses the Home Grown Paper Pack, which has a rustic classic America look to it. I hope you all enjoy! Oh, and this card has no specific greeting, so you could pretty much use it for anything!

Okay, so as luck would have it, my video editing program is not opening correctly and my Mac is giving me the “rainbow spiral of death” as I like to call it. But, while I figure this out, I do have photos at least! And I am posting the bundle so you can go ahead and order it if you like the cards! Sorry for the (extra) wait. I promise it will be worth it. I do a couple of brand new techniques with the Color Me Card Toppers that I just discovered and it made me very excited! So thanks for hanging in there!

    Kindred Flowers Scrapbooking Dazzles

    Handmade Memories Card 1

    Handmade Memories Card 3

    Handmade Memories Card 2

Hi there! Today’s card has an airy, dainty feel, thanks to the elegant Handmade Memories Paper Pack, and the lovely dotted vellum! Can’t forget the star of the show: Kindred Flowers Scrapbooking Dazzles. These go great with many different papers. The great thing is that in today’s bundle you get a bonus 6″ x 6″ paper pad (“Stamp Camp 2″), so more super cute papers to use on your cards. Here I demonstrate an easy way to add patterned vellum to your cards–sometimes I look at vellum and think, “How can I use this?”–so if you’re like me, you’re in luck. I hope you like this pretty, dainty card! Thanks for watching, and happy Monday to all!

    Janie’s Girls Stamps

    Janie's Girls Stamps 1

    Janie's Girls Stamps 3

    Janie's Girls Stamps 2

Hi, everyone! This week’s post is a “Missing You” card brought to you by…Janie’s Girls Stamps (super cute), the beautiful Noted Paper Pack, and awesome washi tape! I colored the image to match the red/tan color scheme of the card–that’s the great thing about the Spectrum Noir pens, you can color anything to match anything! I also love the red washi tapes–you can use them in tons of ways, but the best thing is that they are repositionable, so you don’t have to worry about placing perfectly the first time. I hope you all enjoy this quick and simple card!
