Okay, so as luck would have it, my video editing program is not opening correctly and my Mac is giving me the “rainbow spiral of death” as I like to call it. But, while I figure this out, I do have photos at least! And I am posting the bundle so you can go ahead and order it if you like the cards! Sorry for the (extra) wait. I promise it will be worth it. I do a couple of brand new techniques with the Color Me Card Toppers that I just discovered and it made me very excited! So thanks for hanging in there!

    Kindred Flowers Scrapbooking Dazzles

    Handmade Memories Card 1

    Handmade Memories Card 3

    Handmade Memories Card 2

Hi there! Today’s card has an airy, dainty feel, thanks to the elegant Handmade Memories Paper Pack, and the lovely dotted vellum! Can’t forget the star of the show: Kindred Flowers Scrapbooking Dazzles. These go great with many different papers. The great thing is that in today’s bundle you get a bonus 6″ x 6″ paper pad (“Stamp Camp 2″), so more super cute papers to use on your cards. Here I demonstrate an easy way to add patterned vellum to your cards–sometimes I look at vellum and think, “How can I use this?”–so if you’re like me, you’re in luck. I hope you like this pretty, dainty card! Thanks for watching, and happy Monday to all!

    Janie’s Girls Stamps

    Janie's Girls Stamps 1

    Janie's Girls Stamps 3

    Janie's Girls Stamps 2

Hi, everyone! This week’s post is a “Missing You” card brought to you by…Janie’s Girls Stamps (super cute), the beautiful Noted Paper Pack, and awesome washi tape! I colored the image to match the red/tan color scheme of the card–that’s the great thing about the Spectrum Noir pens, you can color anything to match anything! I also love the red washi tapes–you can use them in tons of ways, but the best thing is that they are repositionable, so you don’t have to worry about placing perfectly the first time. I hope you all enjoy this quick and simple card!

Layered Labels Dies & Happy Days 3

Layered Labels Dies & Happy Days 4

Hello, All! Today’s card is springy and fun, with a bit of pizazz added by the red hot motorcycle on the front! I think this would be a perfect kid’s card–the colors are sure to make anyone smile. Here I combine the flashy motorcycle with the fun Happy Days Paper Pack. Add to that the very, very versatile 6 Layered Labels & 2 Swirls Cutting Dies, a little sparkle from the Gold Jewel Border Dazzles, and you’re all set to go! This card is also a quick make, so you still have time to go out and enjoy the sunshine (if you have it)!

Gumdrop Artful Card Kit & More

    Gumdrop Artful Card Kit 1

    Gumdrop Artful Card Kit 2

Hello there! Today I have a very busy card–hopefully not too busy for you though! I had to combine a lot of products to create this effect. There are many layers to this card, thanks to the acetate overlay and the elements from the Gumdrop Artful Card Kit, plus great accents from Metallic Gold paper and the Paper Patchwork 2 Template! The love theme today is personally meaningful for me (happy anniversary to my husband!) and could be converted to a custom greeting, thanks to the blanks on the cut outs in the ACK (Artful Card Kit). Enjoy! :)

    Father’s Day Card

    Father's Day Card 1

    Father's Day Card 2

    Father's Day Card 3

Hello, all! Today’s video is Father’s Day themed, since it’s coming up here in about 2 weeks! I love the funky Mustache & Glasses stamps. You definitely don’t have to use them just for Father’s Day. I am, just because my father just happens to have a mustache and glasses. This card features the juxtaposition of the fun and funky Rad Dad Dazzles & Mustache stamp, and the more distressed/weather look of the Homeward Bound papers and Embellies. I hope you enjoy it! An added plus: This card is a quick make, only takes about 20 minutes! Happy (early) Father’s Day to all those dads out there!

    Iris Folding & Kindred Spirits

    Iris Folding Owl Card 1

    Iris Folding Owl Card 2

    Iris Folding Owl Card 3

    Iris Folding Owl Card 4

This week’s card is the first iris folding card I’ve done on the blog. The technique is a bit time-consuming, but the overall effect is worth it. Most people looking at this type of card for the first time say “Whoa, how did you do that?” So for an extra special wow factor, try out iris folding! I believe it’s called iris folding after the iris of an eye. Enjoy, and thanks for sticking with me!

    Postponed

    Poor Baby

This might be your facial expression when you see there’s no video up yet…haha

I’m sorry I wasn’t able to get a video done yet this week–I promise it’s coming, probably in the next couple of days. I’ve been overwhelmingly busy the past several days…being a mom, working on more Webisode projects (shhh… it’s not airing until next month!) and also being out of town for Memorial Day weekend (and having to lug my craft supplies along). I hope you all had a more relaxing time than me! Anyways, I hope you’ll forgive me and I look forward to getting everything done so you can enjoy another piece of “creative inspiration.” By the way, Happy Memorial Day (belated)!
