- Place the card with the fold at the top. Cover the card front with tan textured paper, leaving the top right corner unglued. Glue a 1 3/4"-wide strip of brown striped paper (stripes running vertically) even with the bottom edge.
- Place a square tag cut-out over the top of the card front, just left of center, then lightly trace around the edges. Place the card front on a cutting mat and cut along the traced lines to create a window. Ink the edges of the window.
- Computer journal “No”, “about” and “it!” on white cardstock and ink the edges of each. Mat each on dark brown “mesh” paper and foam tape them to the top of the card front with the window between.
- Attach five bone brads across a 1/2"-wide strip of dark brown “mesh” paper. Glue the strip overlapping the seam between the other two papers, trimming the strip even with the card edges.
- Tie a knot in a length of ribbon. Wrap the ribbon diagonally around the top right corner of the card front and tape the tails to the back side of the paper. Finish gluing the paper in place.
- Inside: Glue a 1 1/2"-wide strip of brown striped paper (stripes running vertically) even with the bottom of the card, then ink the edges. Glue a 1/4"-wide strip of dark brown “mesh” paper even with the top of the striped paper. Glue a 2 1/2"x1" piece of “mesh” paper to the right end of the striped strip. Computer journal “happy” and “anniversary” on white cardstock, ink the edges and glue to the “mesh” piece. Top with a knot of rust ribbon.
- Attach two bone brads to a square tag cut-out and foam tape it so it's centered in the window when the card front is closed. Computer journal “you are the love of my life” on tan textured paper, ink the edges and mat on dark brown “mesh”. Foam tape the sentiment above the striped strip.
