- Ink the spine and the edges of the metal book; let dry.
- Ink the edges of two 5"x7 1/2" pieces of red diamonds paper. Glue the papers to the front and back surfaces of the metal book.
- Ink the edges of a 3 1/2"x5 3/4" piece of light yellow paper and glue it to the right side of the book's front cover. Cut a 3" red circle and a 2" aqua circle from cardstock, sanding the edges of each. Glue the red circle to the top and the aqua circle to the right side of the yellow paper. Ink the edges of a 3"x2" photo and glue it overlapping the red circle.
- Punch out monograms to spell “abc's”. Sand the edges of each monogram, then add straight stitch penwork around the edges. Add two brads to the “a” and glue a strip of striped paper across the “s”, trimming it even with the “s” edges. Foam tape the monograms down the left side of the book cover. Zot™ a bow of plaid ribbon to the “b”.
- Add an epoxy brad to the center of a blue silk flower, then Zot™ the flower to the book cover.
