Project: 8"x8" portfolio

1. Ink the matte side of the unfolded portfolio. Cut an 8"x7" piece of green plaid paper, round the top corners and ink the edges.
2. Double-mat a vertical photo on brown, then black lettershometock. Glue the photo to the right side of the plaid paper. Attach the postcard border cut-out across the bottom of the paper with a mini brad in each end.
3. Cut a star shape out of blue words paper and mat on brown lettershometock. Glue the star to the left side of the plaid paper and add three star brads around it. Ink the edges of the “hero” cut-out and glue it to the star, then glue the plaid paper to the portfolio's bottom flap.
4. Ink the edges of word fragment and alphabet tile cut-outs. Foam tape the fragments to the left side of the photo and glue the tiles to the bottom of the plaid paper.
5. Cut a 7"x2 1/2" strip of green plaid paper, round the bottom corners and ink the edges. Glue the strip to the portfolio's top flap. Ink the edges of alphabet tiles and glue them to the right side of the strip.
