- Place your card with the fold at the top. Glue the green striped cupcake bottom to the front, aligning the top with the fold with placement as far to the left as possible. Glue the blue patterned paper to the inside. Close your card and trim the excess, cutting through both layers of your card.
- Glue the blue frosting to excess cardstock for strength and then glue to the top of your card. Glue the candle to excess cardstock as well then glue to the center of the frosting. Glue red and yellow ribbon art across the middle of the cupcake bottom. Foam tape the "A wish for you" tag to the middle of the ribbon, angled slightly.
- Inside the card: Cut two 1" strips of red/yellow ribbon art and glue together so they form a triangle. Glue to the back of the greeting, centered on the top. Then glue both centered on the inside. Attach the "Happy Birthday" paper ribbon near the top of the red/ yellow ribbon. Foam tape a yellow star to the top point of the ribbon.
- Sign the "Handmade by Chef…" tag and glue to the back of your card. Use the extra art to decorate your envelope.
