- Cut one 18 1/4" length and one 4" length of red Memory Thread. To form the heart, place the long piece of memory thread horizontally on your work surface. Measure 5 1/2" from the left end and use your fingers to form a slight point in the memory thread—this will be the bottom of your heart. Hold down the point with one hand, and take the left end of the memory thread and form the left side of the heart. Make a small loop in the end at the top.
- Hold down the point again with one hand, then take the right end of the memory thread and form the right side of the heart. Pull the right end through the loop at the top of the heart, then wrap the top about four times. Use your fingers to form a swirl with the remaining memory thread as shown. Take the 4" length of memory thread and twist one end onto the left side of the heart. Wrap the loose end around the paintbrush handle, then pull the coil apart slightly.
- Zot™ the heart to a 3 1/2" x 3" charcoal burlap rectangle and embellish with crystals. Mat the rectangle on onyx glimmer, then red textured paper, inking the edges. Mat again on white cardstock, leaving a 1/16" border.
- Turn the card so the fold is at the top. Cover the card front with black/red/gray/white words paper. Glue heart rectangle centered on the card front. Cut a tag from white cardstock and ink the edges. Write "You're the best!" on it or use your computer printer. Glue near lower right corner of matted rectangle. Zot™ ribbon as shown.
