- Mat an enlarged photo on black. Mat again with a wider mat of white. Ink the edges and add pen stitching around the photo. Mat a smaller photo with white cardstock and ink the edges. Adhere the photos to the striped background paper as shown.
- Cut a journaling block from white cardstock. Use the arrows template to add light pencil lines. Journal in black pen and add an arrow for the S to start the journaling. Erase the pencil lines, ink the edges and add pen stitching. Adhere to the background page.
- Add felt ribbon across the center of the page. Give the ribbon movement by creating a wavy title. Trace and cut out small arrows and add them to the ends of the title with white stitching.
- Trace bracket arrows to frame the journaling and smaller photo. Make the brackets larger by tracing part of the arrow and sliding the template to the desired length. Cut out the brackets, add stitching and adhere around the photo and journaling.
- Trace and cut out other arrows. Embellish the swirl arrow by wrapping it on the photo and adding button blossoms and stitching. Add an arrow to the top of the large photo with a journaling block and a button blossom and stitching. Attach additional button blossoms to the brackets and journaling block.
