Happy Thoughts Card

Designer's Tip: Smooching flowers on the inside of the card to line-up with the punched flowers on the front adds a personal touch to the “Thinking of you” message.
Instructions
- Front of card: Place your card with the fold on the top. Cut a 6 ½”x5” kraft cardstock and stamp “Thinking of you” in the center with VersaMark™. Pour white embossing powder on top of the words and pour the excess powder back into the container. Sweep the heat gun over the words 4” from the card until the powder melts. Punch the top edge using Daisy Border and keep the excess scalloped paper edge. Glue to the card.
- Place the Floral Strip punch on the right bottom edge of the card, lining up the card edge with the dotted “first punch” line on the right-side of the punch. Punching from right to left, punch seven Floral Strips and keep five flower punch-outs. Glue two flowers ½” from the right and left of the words.
- Inside of card: Using only the blue area, cut 6 ½”x5” Fresh Cut blue floral. Stamp “Sending Happy Thoughts” in the center with VersaMark™. Emboss the words using white powder. Glue to the bottom of the card. Cut 6 ½”x1 ¾” Fresh Cut yellow and punch Daisy Border on the bottom edge. Glue to the top edge of the card. Glue kraft cardstock Daisy Border excess to the top edge. Cut 6 1/2”x7/16” lime green cardstock and glue to bottom of the card. (When the card is closed, the green cardstock should only fill in the bottom scallop punched-out area on the bottom of the card, creating a grassy landscape.)
- Smooch® Flowers: With the card closed and using a pencil, lightly trace the inside punched flowers on the bottom of the card. Open the card and smooch the traced flowers using a variety of bright colors. Creating flower stems, smooch green curved lines from the flower to the middle of the green cardstock, ¼”-1/8” from the green top. Glue three flower punch-outs ¾” away from and around the words.
