- Cut two cards to 5”x5” each, then glue them togethter to make a card with three panels. Open the card and use the back of your knife to score the two outside panels diagonally, from the lower left corner to the upper right corner. Then fold the panels to meet in the center.
- Cover the left (bottom) panel with red textured paper and the right (top) panel with striped paper. Sand each panel, concentrating on the edges. Cut out the word circles and sand them. Foam tape the left side of each to the red side of the card front, so they over lap the striped panel but are attached only to the red side. Sand a red embossed brad and attach it to the center of the small white flower. Zot™ the flower to the edge of the red panel so it overlaps the center of the card front.
- Tie a green ribbon around the bottom of the card. Write or computer print “Let's party!” on the blue tag, sand it and glue it to the card near the ribbon. Slide the ribbon off the bottom to open the card, then replace it to hold it closed.
- For the inside: Cut a 4” red square, sand it, then mat on teal paper and sand the edges. Cut a 4” striped paper square with the stripes running diagonally. Cut in half diagonally, sand one of the triangles and glue to the upper right corner of the red square. Wrap the lower left corner with green ribbon and secure the ends to the back with glue.
- Write or computer print “With good friends, food & fun!” on a tag, sand the edges and then glue centered on the square. Sand a lime embossed brad and attach it to the top of the tag. Sand a red mini brad and attach it to the center of the ribbon. Glue the entire square centered on the card inside.
