Love it. THis is a great webisode. I love color with my coloring pencils. Sara I love you card in which you stamped on vellum and colored the image. BEAUTIFUL! I love the water color technquie. I didn't know I didn't need to have water color paper to use the water color technquie

Great fun w/pencils & paints. Sometimes getting back to basics reminds us why we do crafts..Again thanks for the lessons.

I have used watercolor pencils to color in stamps. Dip the pencil in water and color away! Sort of a combination of the colored pencil and watercolor techniques done in this webisode. But I like the techniques here as it gives a greater variety of shading and variation of color. The watercolor pencils can sometimes be very bright. I wonder about coloring larger stamped images as well. Won't the water make the paper curl and warp?

I thought the webisode was very well done. I enjoyed the projects and the techniques very much, which I will be using on the items I make..Thank you

Water color pensils are also a good coloring choice. You could use your blending tool or brush. I very much like the softer color with the watercolor techniques.

Loved the 'coloring'. Instead of stamping an image, I used one of your vellum printed papers of butterflies, 'colored' on the wrong side then attached it over the fold of my card. Great tips!

Great ideas and wonderful explanation. What type of ink did you use to stamp the stamp so that it does not bleed into the watercolor paint?

Hi Sharon,

I used a Staz-On inkpad, it works perfectly for this technique!

I thought the different techniques were very good. I would never have thought of dipping the edge of the card in watercolour paint like that

The stippling is great I do it over an embossed stamped picture also to get a nice effect.
