Postcard Birthday Card

Instructions:
- For the card front: Turn the card with the fold at the top and cover the front with Boutique houndstooth paper. Ink the edges brown. Cut 2⅜"x5" Boutique squares paper and ink the edges brown. Glue to the front ½" from the right edge, leaving the lower edge unglued. Punch out the papier tole die cuts for the smaller postcard. On piece #1, stamp cherry blossoms in green, music notes in rouge, and “just a note” in brown as shown. Construct the papier tole piece, placing foam tape between the layers, then glue to the front, ⅜" from the left edge.
- Tie a bow in one end of the ribbon. Trim one tail to 4½" and the other to 2½". Glue the bow to the upper right corner of the postcard. Glue the longer tail down the right edge of the postcard and glue the end to the back of the squares paper. Glue the squares piece and the short ribbon tail in place. Knot a 3" ribbon, trim the ends, and glue to the dress form on the papier tole image. Glue a butterfly die cut to the bow, then place the Dazzles™ as shown.
- For the inside: Cover the inside back with Boutique blue paper, inking the edges before gluing. Punch out #1, #2, #5, and #6 die cuts for the larger postcard papier tole image. Stamp green cherry blossoms, rouge music notes, and brown “birthday wishes” on #1. Wrap and knot ribbon around the right side of piece #2, then assemble the pieces with foam tape. Glue an extra art butterfly as shown. Place a small open butterfly Dazzle™ on pink Boutique squares paper, cut around the outer edge, then glue to the upper right corner.
