- Remove the album posts and paint the back cover, the spine and the front cover (about 1" in from the edges) of the album and let dry. Glue a 1"x6 3/8" strip of striped paper to the left side of the album cover. Replace the album posts.
- Mat a 5 3/4" square of green dotted paper on white cardstock. Tie together two gingham ribbon lengths. Run the ribbon across the bottom of the green paper and tape the loose ends to the back of the mat.
- Mat a square photo on striped paper and trim to 5/8". Glue the photo at an angle in the top left of the green paper. Write the subject's name on a monogram and glue it in the bottom left of the photo. Use mini brads to add two turn mounts to the left side of the mat. Glue the papers centered on the album's front cover.
- Write “years” on a number monogram, add a heart brad and glue it in the bottom right of the green paper.
- Layer two small silk flowers on two large flowers and add a mini brad to the center of each. Zot™ the flowers down the top right of the green paper. Attach a length of gingham ribbon tucked under each of the layered flowers.
