Designer Tip: Cut away the bottom front of the card and add a length of lace die cut border create a lacy detail that adds interest when opening the card.
Instructions
- Place the card fold at the side. Cut 1 1/2” from the bottom of the card front only. Glue 4 3/4” square of red floral paper to the card front. Mat 5”x 1 3/4” blue dot paper with white cardstock, leaving 1/8” border and glue across the center of the card front. Mat 5”x3/8” Cobalt Holographic paper with white cardstock, leaving 1/16” border and glue across the center of the blue dot border.
- Foam tape the oval die cut to the center of the border. Glue the stems of 2 blue flowers and 1 red flower to the oval and foam tape the blossoms to add some dimension. Place Red Jewel Dazzles™ at the centers. Zot™ a blue bow to the stems.
- Glue the “Happy Birthday” cut out flush with the top left side of the card. Foam tape 3 tiny green and blue butterfly die cuts to the top right corner. Place tiny Jewel Dazzles™ at the center of each. Glue a length of white lace border die cut to the bottom edge, trimming even with the card edges.
- Inside: Cover the card inside back with blue dot paper. Glue white swirl die cuts 3/4” apart at the card center top. Foam tape the “celebrate” greeting over the center of the dies. Zot™ a red bow to the bottom edge of the greeting.
