- Surface: Paint the outside and inside surfaces of the folder, plus the pocket flaps, light brown; let dry. Use a toothbrush to spatter dark brown and white paint over the surface; let dry.
- Inside panels: Cover two inside panels with brown striped paper and the other two with brown flourish paper. Fold up the pocket flaps and glue in place.
- Place the folder with the closure flap on the left. Ink the edges of light brown, black and white monograms to spell “grad”. Add three dark brown mini brads to the “G” and glue it to the first panel. Zot™ a knot of black grosgrain ribbon to the “G”. Glue a small piece of brown striped paper to the left side of the “R”. Add a light brown mini brad above and below the paper, then glue the “R” to the first pocket. Glue a strip of brown flourish paper down the right side of the “A”. Accent with a white brad, then glue the “A” to the second panel. Glue a small piece of brown striped paper to the left side of the “D”. Add a dark brown brad above and below the paper, then glue the “D” to the second pocket.
- Computer journal four quotes on white cardstock and ink the edges of each. Glue one quote above the “A” and one above the “D”, then tuck the remaining two in the ‘“R” pocket.
- Closure: Wrap a 3/4"-wide strip of dark brown paper around the closed folder, gluing together the overlapping ends. Computer journal “Congratulations, Graduate!” on white cardstock, ink the edges and glue to the strip. Zot™ a knot of black ribbon to the left of the journaling.
