- Use the brown dotted paper as the background. Glue a 12"x3" strip of black striped paper even with the bottom of the page. Glue a 1/4"-wide strip of black cardstock even with the top of the striped paper. Glue a 2"x12" strip of brown texture paper even with the right edge of the page. Ink the edges of the page.
- Mat a 5"x7" photo on red cardstock and foam tape to the left side of the dotted background. Computer journal a vertical block on white cardstock and ink the edges. Mat the bottom edge on red cardstock, then glue to the right of the photo.
- Add penwork around the edges of various monograms to spell “marry me?”. Glue the phrase across the striped portion of the background.
- Trace and cut nine Simply Hearts links from black striped paper. Use the link pattern to trace and cut 14 heart shapes from red cardstock, adding penwork around the edges of each. Connect the nine links and glue one heart over the heart shape on each link. Glue the linked chain down the right edge of the brown texture portion of the background.
- Use glue and foam tape to attach two hearts at the top of the journaling and three more throughout the phrase “marry me?”.
