Brown & Pink Birthday Card

Instructions
- For the card front: Turn the card with the fold on the left and cover the front with brown cardstock. Cut 4¾"x6¼" Floral flower garden paper and glue centered on the front. Use the template to trace squared oval label A on Floral brown dotted paper and cut out. Mat on pink cardstock with 1/32" borders, then turn wrong side up. Center squared oval label B on the first label, trace, and cut out, creating a frame.
- Trace and cut another squared oval label A from Floral pink sprigs paper and cut just inside the line. Place the frame on it and stamp “it’s nice to have a friend to grow old with.” (link) Foam tape the frame to the greeting, then glue both to the card in the upper right corner.
- Tie a mauve ribbon bow and glue to the frame at the upper left. Gently pull the center from one of the paper roses, creating a bud. Glue it and two roses as shown. Place a 1¼" Dazzles™ butterfly on pink cardstock and cut out. Repeat with three smaller butterflies. Secure the body of the largest butterfly to the front with a thin strip of tape and the wings with small foam tape pieces. Glue the remaining butterflies as shown.
- For the inside: Cut 4¼"x5" Floral flower garden paper and mat on brown cardstock with 1/16" borders. Stamp “happy birthday” 1" from the top, then glue to the inside near the bottom. Create another Floral brown dotted frame using squared oval label B with an oval center, matting on pink cardstock as before. Trace and cut squared oval label B from Floral pink sprigs paper, cutting just inside the line. Stamp “you go first” in the center, masking off the other words when inking it. Foam tape the frame to the sentiment, then glue to the inside.
- Knot a 3" mauve ribbon and glue to the frame at the lower right. Place a Dazzles™ flower on the remainder of the pulled-apart flower, then insert a pink mini brad in the center. Glue over the knot. Back a small Dazzles™ butterfly with pink cardstock and glue to the frame, then place two tiny butterflies among the flowers.
