Designer Tip: When stamping on an overlay or other slick surface, always use StazOn inkpads.
Instructions:
- Cut a 10”x6 ½” piece of clear overlay and fold in half to create a 5”x6 ½” card. Cut a piece of Vellum Dot paper to fit inside the card. Attach to inside panel with Vellum Glue Dots. Stamp the edges of the front of the card using the swirl border stamp and the StazOn black inkpad.
- Trace the smallest envelope on the Mini Envelopes #1 template onto yellow vellum from the Cardmaker’s Creative Pack. Cut out and fold, gluing as needed with Vellum Glue Dots. Do the same with the next envelope and aqua vellum, and with the medium mini envelope and green vellum. Stamp each envelope with coordinating color inkpads and the butterflies border stamp. Use Zots™ adhesive dots to adhere the mini envelopes to the inside of the card as shown.
- Journal a greeting on three tags from the Creative Pack (make sure to pick ones that will fit inside your mini envelopes). Attach a short loop of ribbon to each tag using brads from the Citrus Brad Pack.
- For the envelope: Trace the envelope flap onto the envelope with a pencil. Open the flap. Stamp onto the envelope along the traced pencil line using black StazOn and the swirl border stamp. Cut two 1”x6” strips of vellum, one each from the aqua and green vellum. Glue strips along the sides of the envelope flap using Vellum Glue Dots (they should overlap in the center). Trim excess vellum. Cut a 2” length of aqua grosgrain ribbon and attach to center of envelope flap with a brad.
