Designer Tip: If your embossing powder sticks to places you don’t want it, use a small paintbrush to brush away the excess powder before embossing with the heat tool.
Instructions:
- Place the card with the fold on top. Cover card front with brown multi-stripe paper. Cut two 2 ¾”x3 ¼” rectangles: one from the gold metal and one from the teal. Use the Love Tree stamp and embossing pad to stamp image onto the gold metal. Pour on the carnelian embossing powder and shake off excess powder. Use heat tool to emboss image. Repeat on the teal metal with gold embossing powder.
- Place brown mini brads on each corner of the gold metal and gold mini brads on each corner of the teal. Glue gold piece on the card front, ¼” from the left and 1 ½” from the bottom. Glue the teal piece ¼” from the right and lined up with the gold. Write “Happy Anniversary” on a tag, ink the edges gold, add two gold brads, and foam tape it to the bottom center of the card front.
- For the inside: Cover the inside panel with aqua texture paper. Cut a 3”x3 ¼” piece of brown metal and stamp Love Tree onto it with embossing pad. Emboss image using amethyst embossing powder. Place gold mini brads on each corner of the metal, then glue onto the card ¾” from the right and bottom.
- Write “My…for you never stops growing” on a tag, leaving a large space for the word “Love.” Stamp the “Love” stamp onto the space using the embossing pad. Emboss using gold embossing powder. Insert gold brad on the top of the tag and glue to card beside the metal piece.
