Tip: Some areas will have more glitter than others. Once you are finished heating the embossed areas and applying glitter you can always go back and reheat and apply more glitter.
Instructions:
- Cut the UPC strip from the side of the paper. Apply Bamboo Leaves (green) ink to the surface of the paper by rubbing it across the surface. Use a tissue to gently rub the ink from the surface of the embossed butterflies. Repeat with Bahama Blue, but allowing the ink to color the paper and butterflies.
- Use the heat gun to heat the raised embossed images on the paper, in small areas at a time, and immediately sprinkle with blue glitter. Tap away excess glitter and return glitter jar. Repeat embossing process around the outer edges first and then at the center.
- Tear 2” off the bottom of the butterfly sheet and mat with pearl blue paper to restore the 12x12 size. Cut out a border and ink and apply glitter as before. Glue to the center of the pearl blue cardstock border. Use Glue Dots to secure chipboard circles and tag to the border edge.
- Mat the 4”x6” photo with both white and pearl blue cardstocks. Glue to the center of the page at an angle. Use Glue dots to adhere a green glittered swirl at the photo top left and a glittered leaf at the bottom right. Layer and glue 2 aqua blue flowers over the end of the leaf stem. Stack foam tape at the center of the silk flowers and secure a white chipboard flower. Glue 2 chipboard glittered circles to the left of the flower. Cut out the 2 Color Me Butterflies from the Tags & Border sheet. Emboss and glitter and glue to the swirl and leaf.
