Tips: Use the Offset function on the Silhouette software to automatically create mats for your words and shapes.
Instructions:
- Start with a roses corner paper with the embellished corner at the bottom right. Using the Silhouette, cut out a 4 ½” wide frame and a 7” wide frame (Frame 1025) from red patterned paper. Cut photos to fit behind the frames. Cut a 5” wide frame shape and a 7 ½” wide frame shape out of teal patterned paper. Glue the photos and red frames to the teal frame shapes. Mat both pieces on black cardstock, leaving a 1/16” border. Glue the smaller photo at the top right, 1/8” from the right and ½” from the top. Glue the large photo ½” from the left and 1 ½” from the bottom.
- Cut out a title from teal patterned paper and use the Offset function in the software to cut out a separate mat from black cardstock. Glue the words to the matting and glue to top of page.
- Cut out 2 branches (Flourish 1017) from black cardstock and back the leaves with red patterned paper. Glue 1 branch to the left of the title and one to the right of the large photo.
- Cut out a 12” border (Border 1002, repeated to extend 12”) from black cardstock and cut out a strip of red patterned paper to back the holes in the border. Glue across the bottom of the page, ½” from the bottom.
