ANY IDEAS WOULD BE HELPFUL. THANKS...MIKE
Yes, you can use Mod Podge on the binder after youâve painted it (or, even instead of painting it). The binder itself is really sturdy, and can take multiple layersâas long as itâs not saturated. Iâd recommend doing two coats of paint, letting each one dry between coating, then applying a thin layer of Mod Podge. MP does come in both matte and glossyâeven the matte version will give a nice shine to it.
You probably already thought of this but just in caseâwhen painting a binder, I generally paint the front and back (but not the edges) while holding the binder by the spine, then let it dry while itâs sitting like a tee-pee. (This is why I donât paint the edges, so they donât stick to the scrap paper.) I generally use a foam brush, since itâs easier to get in the little dips and corners, when painting the inside of the binder.
Hope this helps, and enjoy creating your binder! Hope you have a great day and thanks for watching.
