I love these candle ideas. I have friends that love candles and these would be such a nice and unique gift to give. Thankyou again for the great ideas and for keeping us crafty people inspired to continue making more fun things.

WOW! What beautiful candles. I am amazed. Great gift ideas. As an added note as I was sitting at my computer tonight, I realized that I haven't gotten any email from you for quite some time! :-( I was really upset, so I went to your website and looked around at what I missed. I was like a kid in a candy store. I immediately updated my account and am now anxiously once again receiving updates.

I used the whipped wax to make a unity candle for my daughter's wedding 4 years ago. Also used the tissue paper to put their name/date onto the candle. It was beautiful and so easy! Thanks for the great ideas...love the alcohol ink.

WOW, what an inspiring webisode. I absolutely love all the ideas but in particular the alcohol ink and stamped candles. I think you've just solved my Christmas gift giving dilemma. Thank you.

Very inspirational! I love your endless sense of creativity! I remember decorating candles for a vacation bible school project over thirty years ago. You brought back wonderful memories and I'm going to try these techniques. You just made candles fun again. Thank you!

The whipped wax reminded me of a craft I did long ago with my class. Using a mug and brown wax (we actually used melted crayons),we made what looked like rootbeer. The whipped wax on top made the foam. It could also be made to look like ice cream. Thanks for the reminder.

These are great videos. The way to solve the prob. withe the candle burning is, the VERY FIRST TIME you burn the candle creates a memory. So if you do not want the candle to burn all the way out to the edge, just let it burn and melt to 3/4 of an inch from the edge, then blow out and let cool. And then then after it will burn stright down and not all the way to the edge. Hope this was helpfur. Reta

Just watched this episode and loved the new ideas for candles. I have been decorating candles for christmas gifts with dazzles. I got the idea from the fall dazzles episode. I love the new ideas using brad buddies and stamping. Also, the alcohol inks technique. I will have to buy more candles. I found some really nice glass candle holders and I have packaged the candles by taking an extra small cellophane bag used for baskets. First, I put the glass candle holder in the bag then the decorated candle. I twist the top, add a ribbon and a decorated tag and I have a beautiful gift ready for giving. Thanks again for all the ideas. I can't wait for the rest of the week. I am trying to make as many home made gifts as possible and these episodes have really helped.
