I received my twine and boy o boy what fun. I have tried so many new things with it,-- pleats, embossing, fringing the tails of bows and many other things. I love it and the possibilities are ENDLESS. Thanks for a wonderful product. Blessings, Peggy

I am having fun with paper twine! I have discovered if you heat it up, just a bit...it unfurls easier. I use my desk light. I also have experimented and sprayed coffee bean glimmer mist on the black bicycle dazzles. It worked!
Makes them look older and antique.

Believe it or not I still have the "old" twine from years ago. I know it is to big for cards but laughed that I still had some. Can't wait to order some of the twines.
Blessings,
Peggy

I remember a product made by Aleene's (makers of Tacky Glue) that was actually plastic. It came in small and large sizes and was a lot of fun. Thanks for all the great ideas of how to use this product.

I just got my paper twine and since I just had surgery on my wrist, I found it to be a little difficult to untwist. I spritzed with a little water as I went along and it made it a lot easier. I was very careful not to mist too much and also with untwisting. Just thought I would pass along for anyone else who may have hand problems.

I, too, used to make "dolls" with the twist. Have been looking for some for awhile.
I ordered the "Saver". Thanks

Amazing ideas and projects w/something so simple. Thanks for all the inspiration. I am not sure the "old stuff" would have worked for some of the techniques, esp w/colors.

I remember making bows with this type of paper twine when I was a kid. Yes, I just dated myself. It was so much fun to work with. I'm glad its back. Thank you for showing the different ways it can be used. Lovely projects, ladies.

not sure why I had a huge box of paper twist and different rafia's in my old craft supplies - but there is enough to keep me busy till my order gets here - so many ideas - I had to share a few. angel wings, angels, palm trees, butterflies, any flower you can think of, curtains on a welcome to your new home card, fans, fish, all kinds of bows, etc etc. Then there are spritzs and sprays glitz and glitter... unbelievable what you can do!! Enjoy!

As always, great ideas and products. One question about the card that was made with the Cloud White, unfurled, glued to cardstock then a flower stamped in the corner....what type of glue did you use to glue it down and was it the same glue or different that went over top of the paper twine? White glue or glue stick or a combination?
Reply from Paper Wishes Customer Service:
We simply used a glue stick, but do feel free to experiment for different looks!

Really enjoyed the paper twine. Many years ago I used to make 3D dolls with paper twine. Great fun & great show.

These are really great and wonderful ideas too. They remind me of the "Crape" paper my aunt used to use years ago for making flowers.
