Designer's Tip: To add dimension to flowers, lift inner petals forward and layer flowers with foam tape.
Instructions
- Background: Cut the pink rose paper to 12”x11” and mat with white cardstock, leaving 1/8” borders. Glue to the center of the lime green gingham.
- Photo: Tear the left edge of 91/2” x 8 1/4” pink dot paper. Mat with white cardstock, tearing the left edge and leaving 1/4” wide borders. Glue to the background paper, 2 1/4” from the top and 1/2” from the right. Mat a 5”x7” photo with lime green cardstock, leaving a 1/8” wide border. Glue to the right side of the pink dot mat with doilies under the bottom left and top right corners.
- Cut 2 large and 2 small swirls from lime gingham paper and glue to the bottom left corner. Cut a 3 1/4” aqua cardstock flower and foam tape to the bottom left corner. Cut a 2 1/4” vellum flower and a 1 1/2” pink cardstock flower. Layer with foam tape to the center of the large flower. Place a Jewel Dazzle™ at the center. Cut two aqua 2 1/4” flowers and two pink 1 1/2” flowers. Layer with foam tape and Jewel at the center. Place one above the large flower and one at the top right corner. Cut two 1 1/2” pink dot flowers, 2 vellum and 1 blue. Place Jewels at center and foam tape among the swirls as shown.
- Journaling: Write or print onto think white cardstock strips. Glue to the top left of the photo. Place Jewel Dazzle™ at each end.
