  1. To ink the handle place the surface on scratch paper. Dab inkpad onto surface, using scratch paper to mask the rest of your project.
  2. Trace the top flap and back of purse onto the back of red dots paper. Cut and glue to the surface. Turn over and use an X-acto® knife to cut the center slit. Ink the edges of top flap black.
  3. Trim 1/2" strip of white cardstock. Mat on black with a very thin (less than 1/16") border. Stamp "To:" at left edge of strip. Journal recipient's name and attach strip 1/4" from top of purse flap with the left edge in line with the edge of the center slit. Cut out a small black tag and stamp the framed "made by:" in black at the center. Attach at an angle on the upper-right portion of the purse flap. Attach a mini pink flower with a mini pink brad through the center to the top of the tag.
  4. Trim a 3/4" strip of striped paper. Mat on black cardstock with very thin (less than 1/16") border at the top and bottom. Attach 1/8" from the bottom of the purse. Trim off the excess from the ends.
