Designer's Tip: Create a “Mask” for each image used on the stamp set before beginning the card. This is a good time use test images and color selections and then cut masks from these test images.
Instructions
- Place the card fold at the side and cover the card front with dark red paper. Glue 4 3/4” x 6 1/4” striped lace paper to the center.
- Stamp a large maroon rose at the bottom right corner of 3 1/2”x5 1/4” ivory cardstock. Mask the large flower and stamp a blue medium rose to the top left. Stamp Olive leaves as the left side of maroon rose and top right. Stamp more leaves to the left and right of the blue rose. Stamp only the stem of the leaves above the blue rose and stamp a small maroon rose. Stamp a medium pink rose on scrap ivory paper and cut out. Foam tape to the right of the blue rose. Stamp blue greeting at the top left.
- Mat the ivory rectangle with dark red paper, leaving a 1/16” border. Glue to the center of the card. Glue a length of caramel rick rack across the bottom of the ivory paper. Zotä a small pink grosgrain bow to the left side of the rick rack border.
- Inside: Mat 5”x3/8” striped paper with dark red, leaving a 1/16” border. Glue across the card, 3/4” from the top. Stamp “Celebrate” in blue below the border and to the left and foam tape a pink stamped cut out medium rose to the right side of the border.
