Glue a 1"-wide strip of brown patterned paper to the left side of the album's front cover. Replace the album posts. Stamp the script pattern repeatedly on tan textured paper, then use the paper to cover the rest of the album's front cover. Ink the edges of the cover. Glue brown stitched ribbon even with the left edge of the stamped paper. 2) Paint 2 Grungeboard hinges, 3 swirls and a label holder brown and let dry. Lightly ink the surface of the Grungeboard. Add brads to the hinges and use the album posts to attach them to the left side of the album cover. Zot(tm) the swirls down the right side of the cover. Ink the top of a brown brad and add it to a brown silk flower, then Zot(tm) the flower to the swirls. 3) Computer journal "Friends" on tan textured paper. Frame the word in the label holder and add a brown bard to each end of the label holder. Zot(tm) the label holder centered on the album cover. Glue a 1"x6 3/8" strip of striped paper to the left side of the album cover. Replace the album posts. 2) Mat a 5 3/4" square of green dotted paper on white cardstock. Tie together two gingham ribbon lengths. Run the ribbon across the bottom of the green paper and tape the loose ends to the back of the mat. 3) Mat a square photo on striped paper and trim to 5/8". Glue the photo at an angle in the top left of the green paper. Write the subject's name on a monogram and glue it in the bottom left of the photo. Use mini brads to add two turn mounts to the left side of the mat. Glue the papers centered on the album's front cover. 4) Write "years" on a number monogram, add a heart brad and glue it in the bottom right of the green paper. 5) Layer two small silk flowers on two large flowers and add a mini brad to the center of each. Zot(tm) the flowers down the top right of the green paper. Attach a length of gingham ribbon tucked under each of the layered flowers. Stamp swirls repeatedly in white over the paper. 3) Wrap black gingham and grosgrain ribbon around the left side of the album's front cover, knotting the tails on the front. 4) Stamp "celebrate the season" in black on the red sheet music tag. Ink the edges of the tag and add a music note brad. Glue the tag at an angle to overlapping the left edge of the black paper on the album's cover. Add a "Merry Christmas" rub-on to a black big brad. Layer red and white silk flower sand add the brad to the center, then Zot(tm) the flowers to the tag's tab. Fold gingham ribbon in half and Zo(tm) the folded end tucked under the flowers. 5) Computer journal "Christmas Traditions" on a blank grey label cut-out. Add a red mini brad to each end of the label, then foam tape it in the bottom right corner of the album's front cover. Guide Book Project: 8"x8" Album Supplies: - Sara's Surfaces 8"x8" Album - Great Outdoors Finished in a Flash!(tm) - brown ink pad - fine-grade sandpaper or emery board - foam tape Instructions: 1) Remove the album posts and ink the back cover, the spine and the front cover (about 1" in from the edges) of the album. Replace the album posts. Glue an 8 3/4"x1 1/4" strip of striped paper even with the bottom edge of an 8 3/4"x8 1/2" piece of light blue paper. Ink the edges, then glue the papers to the album's front cover. Glue a leaf border punch-out across the seam between the two papers. Sand the edges of leaf tile punch-outs and foam tape them across the strip. 2) Ink the edges of a 6 3/4"x4 1/2" piece of brown textured paper and glue it above the border. Sand the edges of two photos and glue them to the brown paper. Computer journal "Guide Book" on a blank label punch-out and add two gold mini brads. Foam tape the punch-out in the bottom left of the brown paper. 3) Add a gold mini brad to each corner of the "adventure" punch-out. Foam tape "adventure" in the top left corner of the album's front cover. Sand the edges of "a" and "e" punch-outs and foam tape them over the letters in "adventure". Glue the "camping" tab punch-out above "adventure". 4) Glue green textured paper behind a brown frame punch-out. Add the lantern Brad Buddy(tm) to the frame and foam tape it to the right of "adventure". 5) Sand the edges of various fragment punch-outs and attach them to throughout the cover using glue and foam tape. Wrap green ribbon around the left side of the album's front cover and knot the tails together on the front. Ink the edges of various pieces of striped, green textured, light blue textured and burgundy textured papers, then glue them overlapping on the left and right sides of the album's front cover. Use the template to trace straight stitch penwork around each of the paper pieces. 2) Computer journal a recipe on ivory textured paper, then ink the edges. Glue the recipe to the album's front cover. Use the template to add zigzag penwork around the edges of the recipe. 3) Computer journal "My Favorite Recipes" on ivory gingham paper and crop to an oval shape. Ink the edges, mat on green textured paper and ink the mat edges. Punch a hole in the right end of the oval and run embroidery floss through. Sand the surface of the cookie jar Brad Buddy(tm) and loop the embroidery floss around the top of the cookie jar. Tear the right edge off light blue/swirly corner paper and glue it to the right side of the pink dotted paper. Spray the whole surface of the album with walnut ink and let dry. Ink the edges of the album. 3) Wrap pink grosgrain, lace and brown grosgrain ribbon around the left side of the album's front cover, knotting the tails on the front. Zot(tm) a button to the brown knot. 4) Zot(tm) two buttons to the swirly border on the right side of the album's front cover. Add a blue jewel to the border and add another centered between the album posts. Press an ink pad over the mesh to transfer the mesh pattern. Remove the mesh and ink the album edges. Replace the album posts. 2) Ink the edges of an 11 1/2"x3" strip of brown/blue striped paper. Glue the strip across the center of the album's front cover. Mat a horizontal photo on burgundy textured paper, leaving the right edge unglued. Ink the edges of the mat. Ink the edges of a small piece of ivory textured paper and glue it behind the unglued right edge of the photo. Add three black mini brads to the tab, then glue the photo to the right side of the album cover. 3) Computer journal the album title on ivory textured paper and ink the edges. Ink the edges of three more piece of ivory textured paper and attach lantern, "campsite" and tent Brad Buddies(tm) to the pieces. Mat all four pieces evenly spaced on burgundy textured paper and ink the edges. Ink the edges of another small piece of ivory textured paper and glue it behind the left side of the burgundy mat. Add three black mini brads to the tab, then glue the whole piece to the left side of the album's front cover. Paris Journal Project: 5"x11" Album Supplies: - Sara's Surfaces 5"x11" Album - Busy Scrapper's Solution Vintage Papers - Vintage Embellish-abilities(tm) - white cardstock - black pen - white acrylic paint - brown ink pad - small Zots(tm) - clear adhesive tape Instructions: 1) Remove the album posts and lightly sponge the back cover, the spine and the front cover (about 1" in from the edges) with white paint. Let dry and replace the album posts. 2) Ink the edges of a 5 3/8"x11 1/4" piece of aqua flourish paper. Mat a 5"x8" photo on white cardstock, ink the edges and glue to the top of the aqua paper. Ink the edges of a 2"-wide strip of stripes from the striped/flourish paper. Mat the long edges on white cardstock and ink the edges. Write "Paris Journal" on the strip, dotting the "i" with a mini brad. Glue the strip across the bottom of the aqua paper, trimming the edges evenly. 3) Glue the striped border cut-out across the bottom of the photo. Wrap burgundy grosgrain ribbon diagonally across the bottom of the photo, taping the ends to the back of the aqua paper. With the album spine at the top, glue the aqua paper centered on the album's front cover. 4) Loop two lengths of sheer white ribbon and Zot(tm) them in the bottom right corner of the photo. Add a white embossed brad to the center of a large burgundy silk flower and Zot(tm) it to the sheer loops.
