Happy Surprises

  1. Place your card so the fold is on the left. Glue the striped hummingbird paper to the front of your card centered top to bottom next to the fold; trim the excess. (You will cut about 1/2” off the top and bottom of the card front only.) Cut out the blue flap, place on a cutting surface and use a craft knife to cut out the diamond window. Fold back the white tab and glue it to the back of your card making sure the hummingbird is centered in the window.
  2. Center the large green birthday greeting on the left side of the card front so it overlaps the point of the blue flap. Glue only the top and bottom of the greeting so the point of the blue flap can tuck beneath the center of the greeting as a closure.
  3. Inside the card: Cover the inside with the green textured paper and trim the excess. Glue the “ Happy Birthday” rectangle to the center.
  4. Sign the “Made with love by . . . “ label and glue it to the back of your card. Use the extra art pieces to decorate your envelope.
