Punch out monograms to spell "Bday" and mat the "a" on white cardstock. Glue the letters overlapping across the bottom of the paper. 3) Stamp "happy" in white on the "B" monogram and add three white mini brads below. Add a black brad between the "B" and the "d", and a tan square brad to the right side of the "d". Zot(tm) a knot of gingham ribbon to the "a". Add two black arrow brads to the right side of the "y". Glue the paper centered on the card front. 4) Inside: Stamp "best wishes" in black in the bottom right corner of the card inside. Add a tan square brad to the left of the phrase. Mat on white cardstock and ink the edges. Glue centered on a sheet of black cardstock. 2) Mat a 6 3/4"x10" photo on white cardstock and ink the edges. Mat again on black cardstock, trimming the left edge to 3/4" and the other edges to 1/4". Punch 11 evenly spaced 1/4" holes down the left side of the mat and knot ribbons through each. Computer journal the subject's name and date on white cardstock and ink the edges. Use staples and mini brads to attach the journaling in the bottom right corner of the photo. Glue the photo to the left side of the background. 3) Punch out two brackets and monograms to spell "Gr8 2 b 8". Alter the monograms with inked edges, penwork, mats and brads, then attach them down the right side of the page with glue, foam tape and staples. 4) Computer journal "It's" on white cardstock, crop to a tag shape and ink the edges. Punch a 1/16" hole in the tab, thread embroidery floss through and knot the ends to form a loop. Attach the embroidery floss to the "G" monogram and foam tape the tag in place on the page. Glue the striped paper centered on a sheet of white squares paper. 2) Mat a 5"x7" photo and a 2 3/4"x4" photo on black cardstock. Glue the large photo to the left side and the small photo in the upper right corner of the striped paper. 3) Punch out monograms to spell the subject's name. Sand the edges of the monograms, then mat each on brown or black cardstock. 4) On white cardstock, computer journal words that start with each of the letters of the subject's name. Trace the smallest rounded tag from the Tags template around each of the words, then cut out. Ink the edges of each and mat some on brown cardstock. Attach the tags to the monograms with black mini brads. Foam tape the name in the bottom right corner of the striped paper and accent with ribbon. 5) Trace the Folder Tab template's Triangle Tab shape on black striped paper, cut out and ink the edges. Glue the tab to the bottom left edge of the large photo. Computer journal on white cardstock and ink the edges. Mat on brown cardstock and foam tape to the tab. 6) Computer journal the page title on white cardstock and ink the edges. Mat on brown cardstock and add a black mini brad to each end. Foam tape the title to the top right edge of the striped paper. Glue all four photos overlapping across the top of the page. 3) Trace the template's swirls C and G in the top right corner of the page. Add a small brown silk flower to the swirls with a dark brown mini brad. 4) Trace the template's swirls B, E, F and H below the photos. Add a dark brown flower to the swirls with a white brad. 5) Layer an ivory flower on top of a dark brown flower and attach them to the right end of the page border with a black brad. 6) Computer journal on white cardstock and ink the edges. Mat the journaling on brown cardstock, trim to 1/8" and ink the edges. Glue the journaling in the bottom left corner of the page. 7) Computer journal two photo captions on white cardstock and ink the edges. Mat each on black cardstock and glue even with the bottom left corner of two photos. Glue the vertical photo in the top left and the horizontal photo in the top right corner of the page, overlapping in the center. 3) Trace swirls from the template in the top left and bottom right corners of the ivory portion of the background. Accent the swirls with brown mini brads. 4) Punch out monograms to spell "Family", matting some on white and black cardstock. Attach the monograms below the horizontal photo with glue and foam tape. Dot the "i" with a small brown silk flower, attached with a brown brad. 5) Add a black brad to each end of the page border's brown strip. Trace a swirl extending from the left end of the strip. Layer and ivory and a black silk flower and attach them over one end of the swirl with a brown brad. Ink the edges of an 8"x7 1/2" piece of brown cardstock and mat on white cardstock. 2) Ink the edges of a 5"x7" photo, then glue the photo to the left side of the brown cardstock. Ink the edges of a white initial monogram and write the name on it in black. Attach the monogram to the top right corner of the brown cardstock with two brown brads. Journal below the monogram with a white pen. Attach the cardstock centered at the top of the page, leaving the left edge unglued. 3) Fold three 4" ribbon lengths in half. Attach the ribbons to the page with brown brads, tucking the folded ends under the unglued left edge of the cardstock. 4) Layer three silk flowers and attach them in the bottom right corner of the cardstock with a brown brad in the center. 5) Computer journal the subjects' names on white cardstock, crop and ink the edges. Mat on brown cardstock and ink the edges. Fold 1" of white ribbon in half and secure the loose ends behind the left edge of the mat. Glue the names overlapping the bottom of the photo. 6) Computer journal a horizontal block on white cardstock, crop and ink the edges. Mat on brown cardstock, ink the edges and glue below the photo. The Joy of Gardening Project: 12"x12" page Supplies: - Use 'Em for Anything Chocolate papers - Chocolate Brad Pack - Cardmaker's Classic Ribbons - white cardstock - red cardstock - colored pencils - black ink pad - foam tape - small Zots(tm) Instructions: 1) Place a sheet of white paper with the sketched flowers in the bottom left corner. Ink the edges of the paper. Trace around some of the sketched flowers and leaves with colored pencils. 2) Trim one end of two red sheer ribbon lengths at an angle, then glue them side-by-side down the page, just right of center. Trim one end of two gingham ribbon lengths and glue them overlapping and extending off the bottom of the red ribbons. 3) Mat two horizontal photos on black cardstock. Mat one of the photos again on red cardstock. Layer a short length of gingham ribbon over a short length of red sheer ribbon. Fold the ribbons in half and glue the loose ends behind the top right edge of the red mat. Glue the photo to the top of the page so the folded ribbon tab aligns with one of the lengths extending down the page. Zot(tm) two bows of gingham ribbon in the top right corner of the photo. Glue the other photo to the lower right of the first photo. 4) Computer journal in strips on white cardstock and ink the edges of each. Mat on red cardstock and accent with black brads and mini brads. Foam tape the journaling throughout the page, overlapping the photo edges.
