Instructions:

  1. With the fold at the left, cover the card front with purple/aqua/lime striped paper. Tear the edge of the aqua canvas paper and glue a 2 ½” x 6 ½” rectangle even with the left side of the card front. Glue a ½” x 6 ½” lime textured strip even with the fold. Glue a 3/8” x 6 ½” dark purple strip along the edge of the lime strip.
  2. Mat a 2 ½” dark purple square on lime, leaving a 1/8” border. Add a ribbon tab and glue to the card front, 7/8” from the top and right edge. Place the birdcage, small birds, swirls, and hearts Dazzles™ on the square as shown. Place “Some Birdie Special” on dark purple paper and trim to a rectangle. Mat on lime leaving a 1/16” border. Glue to the card ½” below the matted square.
  3. Place a 1 ¼” bird Dazzle™ on dark purple paper and trim around the edges leaving a thin border. Glue near the words, as shown. Place a flower border Dazzles™ on the 3/8” purple strip.
  4. Cut a 7/8” x ½” lime rectangle, then trim the corners at one end for a tag shape. Mat on dark purple. Write or computer print “for” on the left side of the tag, then embellish with a tiny heart and dot Dazzles™ (an “innie” leftover from the flower border) as shown. Glue the tag over the lower right corner of the matted square. Zot™ a ribbon bow, as shown.
