Gratitude Project: Card Supplies: - Fold-It Bows Template - Busy Scrapper's Solution Vintage Papers - Cardmaker's Thank You Card Quotes - white brads - 5"x6 1/2" blank white card - pencil - brown ink pad - foam tape Instructions: 1) Place the card with the fold at the top and cover the card front with burgundy texture paper. Ink the edges of a 1 1/2"x4 3/4" strip of multi striped paper, then glue to the right side of the card front. Tear the right edge off a 5"x4 3/4" piece of multi floral paper, ink the edges and glue to the left side of the card front. 2) Ink the edges of the "gratitude" quote and mat on burgundy texture paper. Glue the quote to the left side of the card front. 3) Trace and cut four Claire bow patterns out of burgundy flourish paper. Ink the edges of each and follow the template's instructions to fold into four bows. Add a white brad to the center of each bow, then foam tape three of them down the floral paper's torn edge. 4) Inside: Cover the right 2 1/4" of the card inside with burgundy texture paper. Ink the edges of a 2"x3/4" strip of multi striped paper and glue to the bottom of the burgundy paper. Ink the edges of a 2"x4 1/2" strip of multi floral paper and glue it to the top of the burgundy paper. Glue the fourth bow over the seam between the floral and striped papers. 5) Ink the edges of the secondary "gratitude" quote and mat on burgundy texture paper. Glue the quote to the left side of the card inside. Ink the edges of a 1 3/4"-wide strip of brown dotted paper and glue even with the bottom edge. Ink the edges of a 3/8"-wide strip of purple dotted paper, then mat on ivory texture paper and ink the edges. Glue the matted strip overlapping the seam between the striped and dotted background papers. 2) Ink the edges of a 9 1/2"x8 1/4" piece of ivory texture paper and glue to the striped portion of the background. Glue two horizontal photos to the right side of the ivory paper. Foam tape word fragments to the right side of the bottom photo. 3) Computer journal a vertical block on white cardstock. Crop to 3 1/4"x8", ink the edges and glue to the left side of the ivory paper. 4) Trace and cut four Angel Wings bow patterns from purple dotted paper. Ink the edges of each and follow the template's instructions to fold into four bows. Glue a purple button cut-out in the center of each bow. Foam tape one bow above the journaling and the other three across the right side of the matted page border. Mat a 7"x5" photo on mauve texture paper, trim to 1/16" and ink the edges. Ink the edges of the "family" clip cut-out and glue it to the left side of the photo. Mat again on pink striped paper, trimming the mat to 1/2" and inking the edges. Glue the photo to the right side of the page, leaving the bottom edge unglued. 2) Ink the edges of three 1/2"-wide strips of mauve texture paper, one 11" long and two 4" long. Add straight stitch penwork along the long edges of each strip. Glue the long strip diagonally, overlapping the top left corner of the photo. Glue the shorter strips under the bottom right edge of the photo. Trim all the strips even with the background edges. 3) Trace and cut one Wendy and two Pollyanna bow patterns from mauve texture paper. Ink the edges of each and follow the template's instructions to fold into 3 bows. Attach a cut-out in the center of each bow using white mini brads. Foam tape the Wendy bow to the long mauve strip and the other two bows to the shorter strips. 4) Computer journal on the blank brown tag cut-out. Ink the edges, then glue the tag tucked into one of the Pollyanna bows.
