Belated Birthday Gatefold

- Trim your card to a 5" square. Open the card and vertically score a line 2 ½" from the right side and another 2 ½" from the left side. Fold on the score lines.
- Front flaps: Cut out both the 2 ½" wide stripe rectangles. Glue the dot paper ribbons ¾" from the outside edge of each striped rectangle. Fold the black dot triangles on the white lines provided. Glue one flap to the back of each striped panel. Fold the flap so the dots are on top. Glue the finished panels to the front of your card.
- Attach the "Happy Birthday" words and the red arrow art behind the "Sorry this card…" tag and then glue it only to the left flap.
- Inside the card: Glue the 5" square black paper to the inside. Glue the "I didn't want…" greeting to the center. Foam tape the birthday hat and red arrow to the greeting as shown.
- Sign the "Created for you by …" label and glue to the back of your card. Use the extra art to decorate your envelope.
