Recipe for Friendship Card

Instructions:

  1. Place the card fold at the top. Cover the card front with pink dot paper. stamp small kitchen images over the top 2/3 of the card.
  2. Cover the inside top with striped paper, gluing only the fold edge in place. Tear along the bottom edge and fold up, apply ink to the torn edge. Secure the fold to the front of the card using brads.
  3. Computer journal “Recipe for Friendship” on white cardstock. Cut into 2 3/4” square and stamp an apron below the words. Stamp the apron on stripe paper and cut out the ruffle. Glue to the stamped white image. Color the apron details and mat on black cardstock, leaving a 1/8” wide border. Glue over the card fold.
  4. Inside the card: Cover the inside back with dot paper. Journal the inside greeting: “You make the perfect friend” on to white cardstock. Cut into a rectangle and mat with black. Glue to the inside back. Stamp the mixer to the left inside a circle.

  • 5”x 6 1/2” blank white card
  • Yummy Kitchen Acrylic Stamps
  • Dots & Stripes Papers
  • Black inkpad
  • Acrylic block
  • Standard white brads
  • 1/16” wide hole punch
  • Colored pens: purple and dark pink
  • Black rickrack
  • White and black cardstocks
