Rest, Relax, Escape Project: Card Supplies: - Flip Flops Brads - Citrus Use 'Em for Anything papers - Citrus Flowers - Citrus Brad Pack - Cardmaker's Citrus Ribbons - white cardstock - 5"x6 1/2" blank white card - yellow ink pad - small Zots(tm) Instructions: 1) Cut a 2"-wide strip of yellow dotted paper, including the block border along the left edge. Ink the edges of the strip. Attach eight flowers down the strip using brads and mini brads. Place the blank card with the fold on the left and glue the strip to the right side of the card front. 2) Cover the left side of the card front with orange texture paper. Glue gingham ribbon covering the seam between the two papers. Zot(tm) a bow of gingham ribbon to the top of the length. 3) Computer journal "rest", "relax" and "escape" on white cardstock and crop to three strips. Ink the edges of each strip and mat on aqua texture paper. Attach flip flop brads to the "rest" and "escape" strips. Add a mini brad to each end of the "relax" strip. Glue the strips down the bottom left side of the card front. 4) Inside: Ink the edges of a 1 1/2"x2" piece of yellow dotted paper, including the block border. Glue the piece to the right end of a 6 1/2"x2" strip of orange texture paper. Wrap gingham ribbon around the strip to cover the seam between the two papers. 5) Computer journal "enjoy your trip!" on white cardstock and ink the edges. Mat on aqua texture paper and glue across the orange strip. Add two flip flop brads, then glue the strip across the center of the card inside. Happy Birthday Wishes Project: card Supplies: - Butterflies Brads - My Girl Finished in a Flash!(tm) - 5"x6 1/2" blank white card - brown ink pad Instructions: 1) Place the card with the fold at the top and trim 1" off the bottom of the card front. Cover the remaining card front with multi floral paper and ink the edges. 2) Ink the edges of a 2 1/2"x6 1/2" piece of aqua texture paper. Glue the "Happy Birthday" punch-out to the right end. Wrap lavender ribbon around the left end, covering the left edge of the punch-out. Knot the ribbon ends on the front of the strip. Add a butterfly brad to the punch-out and glue the strip across the card front. 3) Inside: Ink the edges of a 1 1/2"x6 1/2" strip of striped paper. Ink the edges of the "wishes" punch-out and mat on aqua texture paper. Glue the punch-out to the left end of the striped strip, then add two butterfly brads to the left. Glue the strip even with the bottom of the card inside. Happy Birthday 2 U Project: Card Supplies: - Balloon Brads - Citrus Use 'Em for Anything Papers - Citrus Monograms - Dinosaur Brad Buddies(tm) - 5"x6 1/2" blank white card - black pen - black ink pad - fine-grade sandpaper or emery board - foam tape Instructions: 1) Place the card with the fold at the top and trim 1" off the bottom edge. 2) Cut a 3 3/4"x6 1/4" piece of lime bordered paper, including the striped border at the bottom. Ink the edges. 3) Sand the edges of a "2" and "U" monogram, then add polka dot penwork to the "2". Glue the "U" to the striped border, just right of center, then foam tape the "2" over the left side of the "U". 4) Attach an orange dinosaur Brad Buddy(tm) in the bottom left corner of the paper and a green dinosaur in the bottom right corner. Add a balloon brad above each dinosaur, then draw balloon strings from the bottom of the balloons to the dinosaurs. 5) Write "Happy Birthday" across the top left corner of the paper. Glue the paper centered on the card front. 6) Inside: Ink the edges of a 3 3/4"x6 1/4" piece of lime texture paper and glue it centered on the card inside. Cut the striped border to a 1 1/2"-wide strip. Attach a blue dinosaur Brad Buddy(tm) to the right side of the strip, then glue it down the left side of the card inside. Happy Birthday Project: Card Supplies: - Presents Brads (LINK TO 4081097) - Bright Use 'Em for Anything papers - Pastel Use 'Em for Anything papers - Cardmaker's Classic Ribbons - 5"x6 1/2" blank white card - white cardstock - black cardstock - black pen - black ink pad - craft knife, cutting mat - foam tape - small Zots(tm) - clear adhesive tape Instructions: 1) Trim the card to a 5" square and place it with the fold on the left. 2) Cut a 4 3/4" square of red texture paper. Glue a 1"x3 1/2" strip of yellow texture paper even with the bottom left edge of the red square. Glue a 1"x3 1/2" piece of pink texture paper even with the top right edge. Ink the outside edges of the square and add penwork. Glue the square centered on a 5" square of black cardstock. 3) Wrap two lengths of black grosgrain ribbon around the square, covering the seams between the papers. Tape the ribbon ends to the back side. Glue the papers to the card front. 4) Place the card front on a cutting mat and cut a 1 7/8" window in the bottom right corner. Ink the edges of the window. 5) Zot(tm) a bow of black ribbon where the two ribbon lengths meet. Computer journal "Happy Birthday" on white cardstock and crop to a tag shape. Ink the edges and add penwork, then mat on black cardstock. Foam tape the tag with the tab next to the bow. 6) Inside: 7) Ink the edges of a 1"x2 1/4" piece of yellow texture paper. Glue the paper to the left end of a 4 1/2"x2 1/4" piece of red texture paper and ink the edges. Add penwork around all the edges, then mat on black cardstock. Glue across the bottom of the card inside. 8) Draw penwork around the edges of four 3/4" squares of white cardstock. Add a present brad to each square. Glue the squares to a 1 3/4" square of black cardstock. Foam tape the square to the right end of the red paper, so it's framed in the card front's window when the card is closed. Beach Bum Project: 12"x12" page Supplies: - Flip Flops Brads - At the Beach Finished in a Flash!(tm) - brown ink pad - fine-grade sandpaper or emery board - small Zots(tm) Instructions: 1) Ink the edges of a 9" square of blue circles paper, then mat on orange texture paper. Cut two 1 1/2" squares of dark blue texture paper and cut each in half diagonally. Sand the edges of each triangle and glue one over each corner of the orange mat. 2) Mat a 7"x5" and a 4"x3" photo on dark blue texture paper. Glue the large photo to the left side of the blue circles paper and the small photo overlapping the top right corner. Glue the "beach bum" tab punch-out to the top left edge of the large photo. 3) Tape one end of a yellow ribbon length behind the bottom left edge of the orange mat. Thread the opposite end through a ribbon slide punch-out, then glue the slide to the right side of the blue circles paper. Tie the loose ribbon end into a bow and Zot(tm) in place. 4) Sand and ink the edges of a sheet of striped paper, then place it with the stripes running vertically. Glue the papers matted blue circles paper centered on the striped paper. 5) Computer journal words and phrases on tan texture paper and ink the edges. Mat on dark blue texture paper, then glue throughout the page. 6) Sand the pail Brad Buddy(tm) and attach to the ribbon slide. Attach a flip flops brad to each dark blue mat corner. Birthdays Project: 12"x12" page Supplies: - Use 'Em for Anything Pastel papers - Balloon Brads - Presents Brads - Candles Brads - Pastel Brad Pack - Cardmaker's Icy Rainbow Ribbons - Easy Stitches template - white embroidery floss - black pen - bright pink ink pad - purple ink pad - blue ink pad - foam tape - small Zots(tm) Instructions: 1) Place a sheet of color block paper with the large blue block in the top left and the thin yellow block at the bottom. Use the template to add straight stitch penwork along the edges of the color blocks. 2) Mat a 7"x5" photo on purple texture paper and ink the edges purple. Mat the top and bottom edges on pink texture paper and ink the edges pink. Use the template to add zigzag penwork overlapping the top and bottom edges of the purple mat. Glue the photo even with the left edge of the page, 1 1/2" from the top. Add a different colored brad to each corner of the photo and Zot(tm) a bow of gingham ribbon to the top edge. 3) Mat three equally sized small vertical photos one above the other on pink texture paper. Ink the edges pink and use the template to add straight stitch penwork around the edges of each photo. Glue the strip even with the right edge of the pink photo mat. 4) Computer journal on pink texture paper and ink the edges pink. Mat on purple texture paper and ink the edges purple. Glue the journaling centered below the photo. 5) Cut a 1/2"-wide strip of light blue texture paper, ink the edges blue and add straight stitch penwork along the long edges. Glue the strip centered across the purple block at the bottom of the page, even with the left edge smaller photos. 6) Cut three 1" squares of pink texture paper and ink the edges pink. Add straight stitch penwork around the edges. Mat each square on light blue textured paper and ink the edges blue. Add two candle brads to one square and a present brad to the other two. Foam tape the squares evenly spaced across the light blue strip. Add 4 different colored mini brads across the strip. 7) Knot 3 lengths of embroidery floss to the bottoms of 3 balloon brads. Attach the brads to the right side of the page. Zot(tm) a bow of gingham ribbon to the bottom of the embroidery floss lengths to hold them in place. Our Little Girl Project: 12"x12" page Supplies: - My Girl Finished in a Flash!(tm) - Butterflies Brads - Tags template - black pen - brown ink pad Instructions: 1) Place a sheet of lavender bordered paper with the border at the bottom. Mat the long edges of a flower border punch-out on lavender mesh paper and ink the edges. Glue the border covering the printed striped border. 2) Ink the long edges of a 12"x7" piece of lavender mesh paper and glue it 1 1/2" from the top of the page. Ink the edges of a 9 1/2"x6 1/2" piece of multi floral paper. Mat on aqua mesh paper and ink the edges. Glue the paper to the right side of the lavender mesh paper. 3) Mat a 7"x5" photo on pink mesh paper and ink the edges. Glue the photo to the right side of the multi floral paper. 4) Computer journal on yellow mesh paper, crop to a strip and ink the edges. Mat on pink mesh paper and ink the edges. Attach the journaling below the photo with a blue mini brad in each end. 5) Glue "G", "I", "R" and "L" punch-outs to the right end of the punch-out border. Computer journal "our little" on yellow mesh paper. Trace and cut the template's smallest rounded tag shape around the journaling. Ink the edges of the tag, then attach it to the left side of the "G" punch-out with a blue mini brad. 6) Glue small word punch-outs throughout the page. Attach butterfly brads throughout the page and accent the butterflies with head, antennae and flight pattern penwork.
