- Open the coin envelope and lay flat, inside face down. Apply glue to the flaps only and cover with brown textured paper, extending down the back of the envelope ½”. (tip: this ensures that the flaps will not have a raw paper edge at the top when folded back over the envelope) Cut paper around the flaps, even with the edges.
- Apply glue to the surface of the envelope, including the side flaps. Cover with ruler border paper. Refold the flaps before cutting to insure you have allowed enough paper. Cut paper even with the envelope top, bottom and side flaps.
- Glue the bottom flap in place. Place a gift inside and close the top flap. Adhere the large tag over the flap to secure and add the “Dad” letters to the tag front. Add a star to the lower flap.
