Designer's Tip: Spread embossing paste over stencil with a light touch using your finger, making sure edges stay firmly against paper.
- Card front: Place your card with the fold on the left. Cut two 5”x1/4” black cardstock strips. Glue even with the top and bottom. Place Lacy Border Silver Dazzles™ at the edges of the black cardstock as shown. Using the Design Tool Kit #2, cut the Vintage Label from Robin’s Red grey patterned paper. Glue centered and about 3/8” from the top. Stamp Just a Little Greeting’s “Thinking of you” stamp to bottom right corner ¾" from bottom.
- TECHNIQUE: Cut 5”x6” Paper Pizzazz® Birthday Acetate sheet, place cake die-cut centered, and cut. Spray adhesive onto acetate cake die-cut and place onto 5”x6” white cardstock. Trace around outside of stencil with pencil. Take small amount of silver embossing paste and with a light touch apply across stencil. Remove stencil, Let Dry. Cut out cake.
- Die cut cake from black cardstock. Cut cake off leaving only the cake stand. Foam tape cake stand centered ¼” from bottom. Foam tape embossed cake onto cake stand. Place White Jewel Dazzles™ in a row to the bottom edge of each layer of cake. Die cut 8 roses from black cardstock, and cut off leaves. Glue to Robin’s Red red patterned paper and trim. Glue roses to cake as shown. Tie bow from Robin’s Red white swirl ribbon, and Zot™ to bottom left of cake.
- Card inside: Using the Design Tool Kit #2, cut the Fancy Label from Robin’s Red grey patterned paper. Cut the Tiny Label from white cardstock. Stamp Just a Little Greeting’s “Best Wishes”, “Love You”, line and scroll stamps centered on white cardstock. Glue centered onto the Fancy Label. Glue centered 7/8” from top. Glue roses as shown. Cut 5”x1/4” black cardstock strip. Glue even with the bottom. Place Lacy Border Silver Dazzles™ at the edge of the black cardstock as shown.
