  1. Mat a 4"x6" photo on purple, then ivory cardstock and glue to the upper left portion of the pink, purple, red, and ivory dotted background paper. Mat the remaining photo on purple, then pink/purple/ivory striped paper. Glue centered beneath the large photo, 2" from the bottom of the page.
  2. Computer print or write journaling by hand with the black pen on pink cardstock. Trim to a rectangle, leaving 3" of extra space at the bottom. Mat on ivory and glue a 1/4" wide strip of striped paper across the bottom, trimming the edges evenly. Glue the journaling block to the page, centered to the right of the photos.
  3. Cut a 2 1/2"x2 1/4" ivory cardstock rectangle. Tape the cat outline portion of the stencil over the center of the rectangle. Use colors desired for the cat, applying the chalk in small strokes. Leave the face and neck very light or completely open for the face and collar details. Blend the edges of the strokes. Wipe off the stencil with a tissue, and place the face portion of the stencil centered over the head. Add the face details. Wipe off the stencil again and place the collar/heart over the neck area. I added the purple collar, then moved the heart stencil up slightly and added the heart.
  4. Cut a 1" ivory cardstock square and use the stencil to chalk a purple bowl. Wipe off the stencil, then move it so the food portion is at the top of the bowl. Use brown chalk for the food. Mat both chalked pieces on purple cardstock. Glue the cat rectangle to the bottom of the journaling block, and the food bowl square overlapping the top of the journaling block. Journal on the purple tag, then chalk hearts as shown. Chalk hearts at the sides of the cat rectangle. Use glue dots to attach ribbons, as shown.
