Celebrate card

Tip: Secure the metal shapes to paper by first creating a hole in the paper using a pick tool. Apply adhesive to what will be the underside of the metal shape. Insert the tip ends of the shape into the holes and bend flat on the back of the paper.

Instructions:

  1. Stamp “Celebrate” onto the large brown label shape. Create 2 of the same Wind It shapes by following the manufacturer directions for using the Wind It tool. When the 2 pieces are complete, interlock them by threading one into the other. Use the pick tool to make holes through the label. Place glue stick on what will be the back of the metal and insert the wire tips through the holes poked in the label. Bend the tips to lay flat on the back of the label.
  2. Place the card fold at the side. Cover the card with pink dot paper. Cut a 4 ½” x 5 ¾” rectangle of blue swirl paper cut from the left side of the 12x12 paper. Stamp the words “Wishes” and “joyful” among the swirls and secure a single pink metal loop at the bottom left. Cut flowers from other areas of the blue swirl paper and foam tape among the swirl border as shown. Glue the label at the top of the blue rectangle and secure pink mini brads on each side. Glue the blue rectangle to the card front.
  3. Inside: Cover the inside of the card with pink dot paper. Cut 1 circle flower cut-out in half and glue to the side and top edges of card. Stamp “Happy Birthday” on a coordinating tag cut-out and secure a pink mini brad. Glue near the top of the card.
