Thank You Project: Card Supplies: - Fold-It Links Template - Chocolate Use 'Em for Anything papers - Classic Creative Kit - white cardstock - red cardstock - two 5"x6 1/2" blank white cards Instructions: 1) Trim both cards to 5" squares. Open one card and place it horizontally in front of you. Open the other card and place it vertically, overlapping the right half of the horizontal card with the bottom half of the vertical card. Glue the overlapping halves together. For the halves that don't overlap, fold each in half diagonally, folding the top left corner down so it meets the bottom right corner. Fold each diagonally folded panel inward so they meet in the center and form the front of a 5" square card. 2) Cover each triangular half of the card front with black texture paper. Cut a 4 3/4" square of white squares paper in half diagonally. Glue one half to each half of the card front, leaving a 1/8" border around the outside edges. 3) Add three red mini brads to the bottom left and top right corners of the card front. 4) Use the template to trace and cut five Flower Chain shapes out of black texture paper. Connect four links to form a chain and set aside the remaining link. Attach the chain to red cardstock with a red or black mini brad in the center of each link, layering small silk flowers on top of the two end links. Trim the cardstock around the chain. Glue the cardstock centered diagonally on the card front, gluing it only to the bottom flap so the card still opens. 5) Computer journal "thank you" on white cardstock and mat on black texture paper. glue to the top half of the card front with the left end tucked under the red cardstock. 6) Inside: Double-mat a 3 1/2"x1 3/4" piece of white squares paper on black texture, then red cardstock. Glue the papers to the card inside. Computer journal "for all the things you do" on white cardstock, mat on black texture paper and glue to the white squares paper.
