Instructions:

  1. Place the card with the fold at the top. Cut a 1 1/4” strip from the bottom of the card front panel and save for step 2. Cut a 6 1/4”x3 3/4” blue dot rectangle and ink the edges brown. Glue centered to the card front.
  2. Use the Border System to punch 2 pairs of cupcakes with 2 3/4” between the pairs, on red paper. Cut the paper into a 1 3/8” wide strip. Line the back of the strip with the saved cut-away white card strip. Glue the red strip across the blue dot paper. Punch a scalloped circle and ink the edge. Use sandpaper to distress the base of the cupcake Brad Buddy™. Secure the cupcake to the punch with a glue dot and brad (cherry). Foam tape the scallop between the punched cupcake pairs.
  3. Stencil: Use the Border System to punch a row of 7 cupcakes onto scrap cardstock. Center the stencil on the exposed portion of the card inside back. Stipple brown ink through the stencil.
  4. Inside the card: Cut a 1/2”x6 1/2” strip of striped/red circle paper and ink both long edges. Glue above the stenciled cupcakes so that it shows from below the front panel. Stamp “happy birthday!” in brown ink.
