Cover the card front with black mesh paper and ink the edges. Ink the edges of a 4 1/2"x6" piece of tan script paper, then add a mini brad to each corner. Glue the paper centered on the card front. 2) Ink the edges of a 2" square of tan texture paper. Mat on black script paper and ink the edges. Mat a third time on black paper. Glue the matted papers to the top of the card front. 3) Place a sheet of metal on a mat and use the paper stump to emboss the medallion from one corner of the double-sided mold. Use a rotary tool to frame the medallion, then cut to about a 1 1/4" square. Foam tape the embossed metal in the center of the matted papers. Zot(tm) a knot of black ribbon to the bottom left corner of the papers. 4) Glue black ribbon across the bottom of the card front. Computer journal "thank you" on tan paper and ink the edges. Double-mat the phrase on black, then black mesh paper, inking the edges of each. Glue the phrase centered on the ribbon. 5) Inside: Computer journal "for everything" on tan paper and ink the edges. Mat on metal and use a rotary tool to emboss a pattern around the metal mat. Mat a third time on black mesh paper and ink the edges. Glue the phrase to the card inside and Zot(tm) a know of black ribbon to the bottom edge. Favorite Photos Project: Portfolio Supplies: - Rock Star Metal - Scroll Molds - School Tool Set - Paper Stump - Sara's Surfaces(tm) 6"x6" Portfolio - Bohemian sarapapers(tm) - Bohemian Embellish-abilities(tm) - black ink pad - 1/16" hole punch - fine-grain sandpaper - tracing paper - small Zots(tm) Instructions: 1) Glue a 1"-wide strip of red/green floral paper across the portfolio's top flap. Cover front of the bottom flap with red/green floral paper, stopping 3/4" from the bottom edge. Ink the edges of the portfolio. 2) Use the paper stump and mold to emboss a scroll pattern onto a sheet of metal. Cut around the edges and punch a hole in the center. Sand the top of a red medallion brad and add it to the hole, then Zot(tm) the embossed metal centered on the strip that runs across the portfolio's top flap. 3) Write "favorite photos" on tracing paper and flip it over so it reads backwards. Place it on top of a 1/2"-wide strip of metal with the metal's silver side up. Trace over the phrase with the pointed end of a rotary tool to emboss it onto the metal. Punch a hole and add squiggly lines to each end of the strip. Flip over the strip so the phrase is legible and add a red mini brad to each punched hole. Zot(tm) the strip across the bottom of the portfolio's front flap. 4) Wrap green ribbon around the top flap of the portfolio to hold it closed, knotting the tails on the front. 6"x6" Album Project: Embossed Album Supplies: - Rock Star Metal - School Tool Set - Mat Set - Sara's Surfaces(tm) 6"x6" Album - Pastel Ribbon Set - black acrylic paint - foam brush - craft knife - foam tape Instructions: 1) Paint the surface of the album black and let dry. 2) Place a 6 1/2"x7 1/2" piece of sheet metal on a work mat. Starting from the center, use the rotary tools to emboss various patterns all the way to the edges. Glue the metal to the front of the album, wrapping the edges around the album edges and securing to the inside. 3) Cut a 3" square of sheet metal, then cut a 2 1/4" frame inside the square. Use the brush tool to scuff the surface and glue a photo in the frame's window. Foam tape the photo centered on the front of the album so it covers the point where the embossing meets. 4) Wrap pink dotted ribbon around the left edge of the album cover and knot on the front. Line the inside of the album's front cover with paper to cover the edges of the wrapped metal. 8"x8" Album Project: Embossed Album Supplies: - Rock Star Metal - Big Daddy Double-Sided Mold - paper stump - Sara's Surfaces(tm) 8"x8" Album - red rhinestones - black acrylic paint - foam brush - foam tape Instructions: 1) Paint the surface of the album black and let dry. 2) Use the paper stump to emboss the mold's diamond pattern repeatedly on an 8 1/4"x7 3/4" piece of sheet metal. Glue centered on the album's front cover. 3) Emboss the medallion side of the mold onto sheet metal and cut around the edges to a square. Foam tape the square on-point, centered on the album's front cover. Glue five rhinestones to the embossed medallions. 11"x5" Album Project: Embossed Album Supplies: - Rock Star Metal - Heart & Oval Molds - Scroll Molds - Flower Molds - paper stump - Sara's Surfaces(tm) 5"x11" Album - black ribbon - white buttons - red acrylic paint - foam brush - foam tape - small Zots(tm) Instructions: 1) Paint the surface of the album red and let dry. 2) Use the paper stump and molds to emboss thee different patterns on sheet metal. Cut around each pattern, then glue across the bottom of the album's front cover. Glue a strip of black ribbon both above and below the embossed metal. 3) Fold a length of black ribbon in half. Glue the folded end in the top right corner of the album's cover with the tails extending up and to the right. 4) Emboss a different pattern repeatedly on sheet metal. Use the flower download to cut a flower shape from the metal. Foam tape the flower in the top right corner of the album's cover, overlapping the folded ribbon. Zot(tm) buttons in the center of the flower.
