Designer tip: When gluing the alien helmet to the card insides, make sure not to apply glue to the back of the mouth portion, or the mouth will not pop up.

Instructions:

  1. Place your card fold on the left. Cover the front of the card with blue star paper and glue the green planet in the lower right corner. Glue the “Party Planet” flag extending from one of the planet craters. Foam tape the space ship among the blue stars.
  2. Inside the card: Cut out the inner portion, fold and align and glue with the center fold of your card. Trim excess paper around the sides. Cut out the alien helmet and fold according to the lines. Glue the neck and lower helmet portion flush with the bottom of the card and aligned with the card fold. Repeat for the top portion. When card is closed the mouth should be folded out-like a beak.
  3. Arms: Cut out the orange arm pieces, fold down the center line, glue with hands in between and accordion fold. Glue the arms to the alien shoulders. Place arm up inside card when closed.
  4. Cut out the “Piloted for you by:” label, sign and glue to the back of the card.
